CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER (COO)
Job Purpose
Our client, a digital marketing agency based in Dubai, is looking for a talented Chief Operating Officer (COO) to supervise and enhance the daily operations of the company, guaranteeing smooth and efficient operation. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, you will be a key member of the leadership team and will be tasked with operational efficiency, strategic execution and the leadership of a high performing team. An ideal candidate will have experience in the marketing and advertising industry and be an innovative leader who thrives in a dynamic creative environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Operational Strategy & Execution:Ensure optimal performance and growth by designing and implementing operational strategies, business plans, and procedures.
- Team Leadership & Development: Establish excellence and innovation by leading and managing cross-functional teams across various departments like account management, marketing, creative services, and performance marketing.
- Goal Setting & Performance Management: Track progress using data-driven insights by setting clear performance and growth goals across the organization.
- Process Optimization: Strive to improve processes and workflows, promoting efficiency and ensuring high-quality output for all client projects.
- Cultural Leadership: Create a positive, results-oriented company culture that aligns with Clients vision as a leading growth partner for clients.
- Client & Partner Management: Oversee key client relationships, ensuring that client goals are met while driving project success from conception through delivery.
- Data & Analytics: Carry out performance evalutation, optimization of business strategies, and measuring the impact of campaigns using data analytics.
- Cross-Departmental Oversight: Manage and oversee the operations of various departments, including IT, Marketing, Sales, and Finance, ensuring they align with company objectives.
- Reporting: Prepare updates and reports to be presented to the Board of Directors on company performance, project outcomes, and operational challenges.
Qualifications / Experience Required
- Must have local(UAE) experience.
- Extensive knowledge of creative digital product development and performance marketing.
- Demonstrated experience of minimum 5 years in managing and optimizing day-to-day business operations within a creative or marketing agency as Head of Operations or as COO for 3 years.
- Proven strategic planning skills with a history of fostering growth and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed business decisions.
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with experience leading diverse teams of creatives, marketers, and strategists.
- Expertise in usage of key business infrastructures, digital tools, and platforms used within the digital marketing and creative space.
- Adept at navigating a fast-paced, evolving environment with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach to challenges.
