Head of Marketing & Communications
Job Purpose
My client, a holding company, is looking to hire a Head of Marketing & Communications who will be responsible for spearheading the strategic direction, planning & execution of all marketing, branding & communications related initiatives for the organization. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a dynamic environment, whilst being responsible for stakeholder management and building a brand.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop & implement a comprehensive marketing & communications strategy aligned with the business objectives & growth targets
- Identify new opportunities, and latest market trends to drive innovation
- Define marketing goals, KPIs and budgets
- Build the firm’s brand positioning across local, regional & global markets
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all internal & external communication channels
- Establish strong relationships with media outlets & industry influencers.
- Design & executive PR campaigns to elevate the organizations profile
- Lead digital marketing initiatives including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email & content marketing
- Supervise the development and management of engaging content across websites, social platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube), and other channels.
- Leverage data analytics to monitor performance, optimize campaigns, and improve customer engagement and lead generation.
- Build, mentor & lead a high performing marketing & communications team
- Work closely with internal & external departments, agencies & consultants to ensure seamless delivery of marketing initiatives
- Prepare & manage the budgets with a focus on maximizing ROI.
Qualifications / Experience Required
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, MBA desirable
- 10-12 years experience with a proven track record in a senior marketing role
- Deep expertise in traditional, digital and social marketing
- Strong understanding on B2B and B2C marketing models
- Ability to design, track, and report performance metrics and KPIs for campaigns
- Strategic thinker with an ability to translate vision into actionable marketing strategies
- Skilled at team development & performance management
