Head of Marketing & Communications

Job Purpose

My client, a holding company, is looking to hire a Head of Marketing & Communications who will be responsible for spearheading the strategic direction, planning & execution of all marketing, branding & communications related initiatives for the organization. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a dynamic environment, whilst being responsible for stakeholder management and building a brand.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop & implement a comprehensive marketing & communications strategy aligned with the business objectives & growth targets
  • Identify new opportunities, and latest market trends to drive innovation
  • Define marketing goals, KPIs and budgets
  • Build the firm’s brand positioning across local, regional & global markets
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all internal & external communication channels
  • Establish strong relationships with media outlets & industry influencers.
  • Design & executive PR campaigns to elevate the organizations profile
  • Lead digital marketing initiatives including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email & content marketing
  • Supervise the development and management of engaging content across websites, social platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube), and other channels.
  • Leverage data analytics to monitor performance, optimize campaigns, and improve customer engagement and lead generation.
  • Build, mentor & lead a high performing marketing & communications team
  • Work closely with internal & external departments, agencies & consultants to ensure seamless delivery of marketing initiatives
  • Prepare & manage the budgets with a focus on maximizing ROI.
Qualifications / Experience Required
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, MBA desirable
  • 10-12 years experience with a proven track record in a senior marketing role
  • Deep expertise in traditional, digital and social marketing
  • Strong understanding on B2B and B2C marketing models
  • Ability to design, track, and report performance metrics and KPIs for campaigns
  • Strategic thinker with an ability to translate vision into actionable marketing strategies
  • Skilled at team development & performance management
