INVESTMENT SPECIALIST
Job Purpose
Our client, a leading government entity is looking to hire an Investment Specialist who will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of investment decisions, supporting the efficient management of custody and reporting. Additionally, you will support the department’s business and strategic planning processes, whilst improving operational efficiency in achieving long-term investment goals. Your expertise will help streamline processes and ensure the integrity of investment activities across the organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Execution of investment decisions across all asset classes with fund managers, investment managers, custodians, etc.
- Managing monitoring framework, operational management framework, annual due diligence, portfolio reconciliation, etc.
- Execute projects in cash management, cash projection, asset allocation.
- Lead operational projects, monitor compliance of all investment managers, review policies and procedures.
- Stay up to date with latest industry trends and best practices related to investment operations and middle office.
- Ensure risk framework, policy guidelines and procedures are followed by the investments team.
Qualifications / Experience Required
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- 7- 10 years experience in financial operations.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and lead initiatives.
- Proficient in using computer based analytical tools
