Portfolio Manager

Job Purpose

A Government entity in Abu Dhabi is looking to recruit an accomplished Senior Fixed Income Investment, who’s title will be “Portfolio Manager” to oversee the corporate portfolio. This role demands a seasoned professional with a comprehensive understanding of fixed income investments, encompassing structured products, bonds, mortgage-backed securities, and private credit.

Job Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate extensive experience in making critical investment decisions and adeptly managing portfolios across diverse market conditions within investment policy.

  • This position is hands-on, requiring a profound comprehension of economic principles and the ability to effectively rebalance portfolios.

  • Manage portfolio of fixed income, funds and bonds.

  • Proactively providing recommendations based on analytical market and economic views.

  • Be a personal contributor in his role to manage the risk associated with diversified investment products.
  • Align funding and investing activities with internal investment policy.
  • Manage relationships with internal team and external parties from other funds and banks in UAE and Abroad.

    Qualifications / Experience Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
    • Minimum of 12 years of experience in Finance/Accounting, with at least 4 years in progressively senior roles, in similar organizations.
    • Chartered Accountant (CA, ACA, etc.) certification.
    • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification is a must.
