Senior Financial Analyst – Equities
Job Purpose
A Government Entity, based in Abu Dhabi, is currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst for the Equities division, who will be responsible for leading valuation analysis on investment opportunities and designing financial models.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the valuation analysis on a wide range of target investment opportunities using accepted and relevant approaches
- Design financial models for discounted cash flow, market multiple, market transaction and analyses
- Prepare analyses, comparisons, estimates and forecasts related to key financial matters like investment decisions, cash management, expense budgeting, etc. based on the research on industry standards, benchmarks and trends for performance measurement
- Analyze financial data and performance indicators to determine past financial performance and/or project financial probability and assist in the development of financial reports
- Develop long term financial projections, considering alternative scenarios and economic prospects as appropriate
- Manage Client’s equity investments portfolio to ensure both liquidity and profit availability
- Review Client’s strategy to develop a solid understanding of the broader investment, settlement and risk management issues, and strategies of the Client
Qualifications / Experience Required
- 10 Years of Experience in Investment Management
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. Master’s in Finance is preferable
- Preferable certifications like CFA, CMA or Equivalent, Investment Management
- Proven experience in investment analysis, portfolio management
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques and statistical analysis
