Job Purpose

A government entity based in Abu Dhabi is looking for a ‘Senior Project Manager’ with PMO experience to join their team. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex projects for the clients while leveraging your expertise in project management office practices. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven track record of success in the consulting industry.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring alignment with client goals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to project teams, fostering collaboration and driving performance excellence.
  • Utilize your expertise in project management office practices to establish and optimize PMO frameworks for clients.
  • Develop and implement project management methodologies, tools, and best practices to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Proactively identify project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans as needed.
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations, conducting regular reviews and assessments throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project budgets and prepare regular status reports.
Qualifications / Experience Required
  • 10-15 years of total experience, with at least 6-8 years in project and program management within a consulting firm.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and leadership skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with best practices in PMO structures and operating models.
  • Proven experience leading and managing complex projects in a client-facing environment.
  • Strong understanding of project management office practices, methodologies, and tools.
  • Arabic speaker.
