TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Job Purpose

Our client, a government entity based in Abu Dhabi, is currently looking for a Training and Development Manager with experience in a financial institution, who will be responsible for creating and implementing training programs that align with the company’s goals and objectives. You will work collaboratively with other departments to identify training needs, design courses, and deliver effective training sessions. The successful candidate will have a passion for learning and development and will be committed to driving the growth and success of the organization.

Job Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement effective training and development programs that enhance employee skills and knowledge, addressing specific industry challenges
  • Assess organizational training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, or consultations with managers, aligning these needs with overall business strategies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify training needs and create customized courses.
  • Deliver engaging training sessions using a variety of methods, including in-person, virtual, and e-learning platforms.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, using metrics and feedback to continually refine training strategies and improve ROI.
  • Foster and sustain connections with external training providers and vendors.
  • Keep abreast of the most recent advancements and techniques in education and growth.
  • Oversee the company’s training and development budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Develop career development plans for employees and provide guidance and support in achieving their goals.
  • Create and maintain training records and reports.
Qualifications / Experience Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, education, organizational development, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing comprehensive training and development programs within financial institutions.
  • Strong proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess training needs and measure program effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with employees and stakeholders at all levels
  • Display robust project management abilities, with the ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously
