WEB DESIGNER

Job Purpose

Our Client, based in Dubai, is hiring a Web Designer, who has a strong understanding of current web design trends, a passion for creating aesthetically pleasing and user-friendly websites, and the technical skills to bring designs to life. You will collaborate closely with development, marketing, and content teams to produce visually stunning and high-performing websites.

 

Job Responsibilities
  • Create visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive website designs from concept to execution.
  • UX/UI: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces that provide intuitive and seamless user experiences.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all web designs are consistent with the company’s brand identity and guidelines.
  • Work closely with web developers to implement designs, ensuring that they are functional and adhere to web standards.
  • Integrate SEO best practices into web design to enhance site visibility and traffic.
  • Work with content creators to effectively display multimedia content, including images, videos, and animations.
  • Conduct usability tests and address any issues, optimizing for speed and efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and suggest improvements to existing designs.
  • Assist in the regular update and maintenance of websites, ensuring they remain current and effective.
Qualifications / Experience Required
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-5 years of experience in web design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating creative design and technical proficiency.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js and understanding of back-end technologies and how they integrate with front-end design.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma, Sketch, etc.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap).
  • Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, etc.
  • Excellent eye for design, color, typography, and layout, strong UX/UI design skills, with experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
